“It’s a long day, up to 12 hours, with only 3 hours spent at the Pamukkale/Hieropolis site. That being said, the hot springs area is very interesting to see. Note, you’re only paddling in water above the ankles, not swimming. The exhibits at Hieropolis are well done and the theatre is well-restored, so you could actually spend more time there than paddling in the water. The lunch is good and very plentiful. We were asked to wait outside the main gate, which we did for about 45 minutes. 45 minutes later,the hotel told us that someone came and left from main door. We had to creats a fuss to be taken back on trip as it wasn’t our fault at all. They were not even picking up phone when we tried to ring them.”
